I signed up for this in January. At the Devens tournament yesterday, I spoke with Mike Morin, who also signed up. The only response, so far, is a Paypal receipt. Their websites add nothing new. Anyone know anything about this - is it really happening?

Course status Wed pm was icy on the paths and steps, little to four inches of snow on the fairways, some more off the fairways (where I spent most of the round). We didn't need ribbons, didn't lose discs under the snow. Weather forecast for Sat and Sun may change this - well above freezing both days.

Sorry, I'm out - had an unexpected conference call I need to be part of. Put my fee to the charity.

I was in the last group, and, yes, we were slow(ish). While I am older, and walk somewhat slower, I try to remain focused on the game - i.e. After I throw, I move promptly to my disc, mark, and throw. So, I don't think I contributed to our rate of play being slow. I did lose a disc on 16 (didn't ...

In the same vein, are there any 60+ year-olds registered, enough to ask John for a Senior GrandMaster's division - probably would need four. It tends to be lonely in my official division

I have a sprained ankle (fell over my feet leaving a breakfast place - wasn't even a bar!), so I'm out of commission for Blueberry Jam - hate to miss it! So, no Legend playing this year!

Incredible celebration last night - huge thanks to all who contributed/organized, especially, Rob, Luke, Tara, as well as unknown others - we should plan another one for 2023! All very cool, along with the usual great weather management. Many, many thanks - an event to remember.

As we get older, various parts become limp, especially our driving arms. However, we are good with gravity, so I suggest keeping the long DOWNHILL holes, especially the open ones in the second half, as they are. Shorter uphills (at least for me) would be a welcome offering!

Played a few holes with Bob Picard and Titan today and have come to the conclusion that I'm not ready for league play, but would be better served by playing casually with you guys as I try to acheive some competence.

I would have to disagree. League is a great place to improve, learn the rules ...

I have a canopy and I'll put the 4'x4' card table in so it's there if you need it.

Don't forget to celebrate the occasion that the magic elixir (i.e. Scotch) in your CPR flask needs to be at least 40 years old! No more of that Kr*ppy Blend from the ice-bowl!

And, yes, I can bring a camera - I've still got black and white film and a sepia filter somewhere!

If you are 49 on the 1st of January, you're a Grand Master for the whole year by PDGA guidelines - kind of like racehorses. The PDGA divisions for 2011 are:

Master - born 1971 or earlier
Grandmaster - born 1961 or earlier
Senior Grandmaster - born 1951 or earlier
Legend - born 1941 or ...
