Played a round with Nick and Frank this morning, great day for disc golf! Nick and I talked about some of the areas that may be open for expansion and also let him know about the no-no areas (i.e. the river, active trails). He's going to work on a proposal for how the project would work ...

Matt, just shot you an email, Nick and I are meeting at the park at 10 to look at possible expansion holes, are you able to swing by?

HUGE thanks to Matt for getting the course together, helping the Scouts do some service, and teaching many potential younger players. We had a couple email that went back and forth after the workday and everyone loved it ...

We've got about 15-20 signed up at the moment, but always a chance that grows with good weather .

If anybody who is coming has a portable basket, it could be useful for the demonstrations on how to play. See everybody on Saturday

A few people asked what to bring. Basically we have any supplies we need, but in terms of tools: work gloves, shovels and trimmers/loppers would be very helpful as we only have a few ourselves.

Also, if anyone has a good GPS that they can use to map ...

Matt is on vacation so I am putting this up to alert people. This Saturday there will be a workday at the new course being placed in the woods behind the Orange High Plains Community Center. This is the only course in all of New Haven County (can you believe that!) and we hope to ...

Took a walk through the course quickly today, was able to find all 9 baskets but not all the tees to go with them. Did find hole two and may have taken a shot or two (or my whole bag), definately a fun shot! Looking forward to a more comprehensive walk through tomorrow...and a few more shots at hole ...

Matt, That's fine. I'm actually going on a disc golf trip to Allentown area in PA on tuesday afternoon through Thursday, so I'll need to meet about the same time on Tuesday. I may wander over there tomorrow anyways just to see where the baskets are, but that will depend on the weather. I'll plan for ...

Matt, I got your message, I'll make it for 9:30 and will park in back near the pavilion. Waterproof boots are in the bag for the walk through. Awesome news about the baskets!

A friend lost a blue rock on hole 8 last week. The disc is DX, beaten to sh*t, all the markings will be worn off the front, but its his favorite disc he's had for years. He'd offer a new "anything" disc as a reward for its return, if anybody sees this pop up please let me know. Thanks!
