I would like to make it, wet grass, but the weather should clear up for league, and after. Been a while since I've played league of any sort. >:)

Re: World War I Park, North Attleboro

Spot on Gortze! That's the land we walked.

I've always pondered the idea of a disc golf course there. Less land to work with than a decade ago...Do you think 18 holes could fit with the available land without being "pitch and putt"? I can't imagine it'd be a "long course" - 5 or 6k ft. or longer ...

Re: World War I Park, North Attleboro

Its okay, I'm happy they are to ideas for a DG course.
Where exactly is the land that could potentially used for the course?
I imagine around the old ski hill area thru the woods towards the supply building, then a walk up the sledding hil and thrughout the wooded land parallel the open field? The ...

Is this walk thru open to anyone? I'd love to join and help out. Besides, having a potential course literally in my back yard is very exciting. :)

Marvelous job Matt & Dean and everyone involved (too many to list). Congrats Roger for taking am1! I had nuthin today!
Most importantly, all the kudos in the world to all who helped raise money for the unfortunate tornado victims. That alone is purely awesome! You are all truly great folks!

Re: Borderland

Looks great, location at least at the kiosk and hole 18 would be perfect, whether holes 1 or 5 idk...both would be helpful...why not a billboard after hole 9? j/k anyways...as long as players learn the where and hows to returning discs, its totally up to them to follow through, we got the word out ...

Re: Borderland

My mistake it was saturday. They had a bike-a-thon type program going on, which included one family to be able to park their minivan in the middle of the field for the day unattended. (why the middle?)...why not near the picnic benches where everyone was gathered?... He reacted to the noise of the ...

Re: Borderland

Was packed Sunday. A practice throw in the big field landed by the trash barrel near the bushes behind the road by the season pass parking lot and some 20 yr old guy picks it up and walked towards the parking lot so I booked it and as I caught up to him it was in a woman's hand and she asked him how ...

Grrr...I hate this thread...I lost a Red Star TeeRex today at the monthly. Should have (if not too faded) my name on it "C. Gortze" and "ACE" written on it, it was my first ACE disc.
Sadly I haven't gotten my second Ace disc back yet (Spring-Fling). It is a White Star Stingray that I lost 3 weeks ...

Are you serious? Both on hole 1?

Of all the Y to W holes, I would have never guessed that one would be hit ... it's probably one of the hardest on the course. Is the position still half way between the white tee box and the blue pin or did it move to the white to white fairway?

Either way ...

I'll be there rain/shine. I'm off that night and hitting an Ace would be a great way to cap off my 26th birthday. Which top 5 holes(Y-to-W) do you think are most Ace-able?
I'm thinking 3,2,4,8,12
