Coggshall Disc Golf club is looking for volunteers for the BOD for 2016-2017. We are looking for people that love Coggshall and want to make a difference with the course. All positions will be up for vote. President, VP, Maintenance(2) and Treasurer.

Coggshall park will be having a work day October 3rd from 9am to 3pm. We are looking to get as many bodies as possible for this one. We will be renting equipment and will also have food and drink on hand.

Hole 9 is where we will be concentrating our efforts. If anyone has played at Coggs you know ...

Pulled 52 discs out of the pond (none were mine ) and about a handful have no ink and others don't have enough contact info to get a hold of the owner. Lemme know what you chucked in the pond w/o ink on it, I may have it. I'll be texting people who had numbers on their disc.

The gear shaped disc is a cogg. We always call Coggshall, well coggs... so thats where it came from

I think a lot depends on the weather. Right now i am seeing a few inches of snow with ice.

Is there anyone out there that has a wood chipper so we can take care of those old piles of trees along the road.

If we can get a work day going ill get us pizza and beers to help make the work day more enjoyable. Seriously lets do this.

Last league of the year!! Gonna be teeing off at 430.

I would definitely advise staying on the lower course tomorrow (1-3,13-18). Tonight it took me an hour and a half to throw 18 by myself, starting at 5 pm. Parks Dept. definitely wants to lock the gate at 6:45. They might let us stetch it a little but it starts getting dark by then anyway.

Good times as usual out at coggs today. First round was rough but the second round was much better. Ok turnout would have liked to have more show up. Trent runs a smooth, on time tournament for those that don't know.

Next year three events at coggs. Pdga,nefa and an ace race. Cant wait!!!

Wed I will hit hole 11 first. Then I am going to 13-18. I really wanna hit 14 by the basket. Gonna practiclly clear cut that area to the right before the basket.

yeah, did most of the major work this year (@ Barre) with winter/summer changeover

We had 8 players last Thursday 8/8/13, and sold two new tags as well to Josh Godsoe and Josh Peterson.

Josh Godsoe took first in the apool with a 56 and $9 as well. Jim Robinson took first in B pool with a 64 and $15.

If the rain doesnt stop soon i am not going to league tonight. There has been a total of 7 players the last two weeks so i don't expect more than 4, myself included. I dont feel good enough to play 3 hours of golf in the rain.

Signs are in the process of being put out. I actually have one that points up the hill saying holes 4-12. I have to hang it up higher than most normal signs as most of our signs on the road get ruined by non players. Just havent gotten to it. Hopefully soon.

Just a random thought but has anyone ever put in a nefa grant request for goodnow? Im sure it could go a long way to revitalizing this course.

Is the course even ready to go for an ace race? Any news at all would be nice to hear. Seems to me this course has been in disrepair for a long time.

I feel like an idiot asking this, but where is hole 4? I absolutely couldn't find it after leaving 3. All I could find was the tee for 13.
