It's not fair, IMO, to have someone "adopt" a hole and be responsible for picking up after these morons. We have league players occasionally pick up trash during leagues, and we do "trash rounds" every so often when we notice it's really getting bad out there.

I think when the weather gets nice ...

Nice work thus far Josh...let me know if you need help on the conservation side of things...i have several years experience with wetland permitting, delineation and assessments.

Not to pick on 4-wheelers, but a LOT of groups think they OWN the world and ANY other person is trespassing on THEIR turf! A lot of parents have NOT done a good job on teaching their kids to "share" .

Nor have some parents bothered to find out the rules of various properties or who even owns them ...

Awesome news Rob!!...congrats on getting permission for the back 9!! The front 9 is truly epic so I'm sure the back 9 will be something to look forward to. I really like the idea of a kickstarter program for new courses as well. Look for a financial donation to come your way very soon.

If the tourney doesn't fill, why not let him play ? If it does, then sure, "Sorry man, it's full of folks who qualified", is reasonable also. No one likes to hear no, sometimes its the only response. I just simply don't see the benefit of a black and white no here.

I actually created a new powerpoint for the Sandwich course proposal....some of the panes are all about the CC Disc Golf Club but it can be edited easily to reflect a new proposal

If anyone can bring COLEMAN glow sticks, they have at Walmart, that would be great to light the glow round Friday night.

I'm unfortunately not financially able to help fund the glow round this year, so I'm calling on people to help support the glow round Friday night.

UPDATE: All three recreational proposals for the Sandwich Hollows property will be going before the town board of Selectmen at one of their two September meetings...which one, we don't yet know. Once we find out, we'll spread the word like wildfire...stay tuned

A consulting firm hired by the Town of Sandwich presented 3 different master plan layouts for a combination of athletic fields, walking trails, a multi-use park and disc golf. To see proposed areas for a disc golf course on all 3 scenarios was highly encouraging ...
