Re: 2015 GREEN MTN CHAMP: +$10,000 9/18-20 - A/B Tier

Jeff - I realize the week leading into an event is hell for a TD, especially something of this magnitude. Just wondering if I missed the follow up email yesterday or if it's on the way. Mainers are rolling tomorrow and we'd love to have the caddie mat'l for our practice rounds.

Thanks! Looking ...

Re: BsR Open - pdga B TIER! September 6th 2015 ADDEDCA$H

Update:

We're working on a catering situation for lunch (+$), but all are welcome to swing the grub situation independently. However, options are limited in the area and we can't guarantee you'll be able to hit up a big mac and get back in time. Lunch orders will be a pre-first-round type of thing ...

I've been given the nod to proceed to b-tier. Things are shaping up and funds are rolling in thanks to toothy's hard work. More new by the week's end!

Wait list opened up a few days ago & registration is available for all who were wait-listed. 8 spots will open up Monday at 6pm to round off the 216 considering all wait-listed convert to registered. Potentially another grip of spots to be released in the future, bringing the event cap to 288.

Re: Bittersweet Open PDGA c-Tier September 6th 2015 ADDEDCA$H

Hey Jim - We will just be using the front course (bsr1, the smaller course) as I don't think all pads will be set on the new course and I don't find it to be fair to play a course of that length without a proper launch zone. Lots of elevation and stretchy, technical holes that can be easily ...

Re: Lost cause?

I think anyone who has an issue with the bills to be dropped on a round at one of Maine's pristine facilities needs a trip to the Clearwater area during spring training.

Beautiful public land, free, decently maintained with glorious 5-30 minute waits on holes with shared walking paths. Most of the ...

Truly a 1%er sport these days at $5 a round. I had to sell one of my helicopters AND a Lambo in a really discounted package deal to play league this week ($10)!

Re: Ghost Tree Disc Golf Course -Augusta Golf Park-

FWIW, I think the course pars implemented and now fading at current day were done with a beautiful mind and strategy alike. I've always been a proponent of the whole "don't like the written par, ignore it and play to your own personal challenge point" mentality. This does away with the significance ...

Constructive criticism would be getting in touch with the TD yourself and letting them know how things could improve. Of course I'm not. However, I'd expect stuff like this to be brought up for anything I've run. It's perfectly OK to make an issue known. This is how issues don't arise in the future.

coulda been and odd number or something Tufts IDK..seen it before though..at least a few times

Odd numbers can be better dealt with than throwing a pro (who paid $75 to enter and murdered the majority at the VO) on an AMdeuce card that isn't even playing the same layout.

There's no argument ...
