course is looking fabulous. New 5 hole is great, much more fair, but remains a difficult 3. Hole 7 becomes much more testy and requires , in my view, a well placed flick for righties in order to hold the steeply sloped fairway, but still offers a birdie run for big arms.

I whacked the weeds on the 6th fairway today and cleared the red tee. Found a red stake in the woods , could not pound it in so left it under a pile of freshly cut brush just in front and to the right of the tee.

The mound to the right of the 10 pin as you look at it from the tee appears to be an old pile of bottles and other garbage , but mostly glass ...

couldn't make it yesterday...on my way to the course shortly, be there @ 11ish...have wheelbarrow and rakes and a coal shovel to attack glass at 10 pin.

-have an extra rake and other crap if anyone wants to turn up.....
