Re: RF&G (Free To Play)

I sure will Titan. Can't wait to see the lower holes. I think these lower holes will help attract people from the club to get into the sport. Then they'll have a real ownership of the course.

I agree the area is perfect for a tournament. Course and facilities all in one!

Re: RF&G (Free To Play)

Evidently Matthew.... you are a member of the B and M club. I think its a great course Titan and Guy and everyone else who created this place.

I guess you didn't read the conversation or my post very well. Titan asked for honest feedback and I gave it. I also stated that this is just a personal ...

Re: RF&G (Free To Play)

First of all, I want to say a big "Thank You" to Titan, Guy, and all the others that worked on this course. Without efforts of volunteers DG wouldn't be where it is today.

I almost hate "reviewing" new courses because often they take years to break in, get tweaked, and eventually become established ...

Re: RF&G (Free To Play)

Thanks.

New courses don't scare me. I've played Coggs and Webster Fish and Game in their early days. I like to see the progress as times goes on.

I certainly fall into the "recreation" type player so my feedback will be from that side of it.

Can't wait to check out another course in Mass! You ...

Re: RF&G (Free To Play)

Now that kids are in school I'm thinking of trying out this new course I've been reading so much about. Is is available to play on Thursday or Friday?

If so, how is the navigation? Is it easy to figure out for a first time course player?

Re: Barre Falls Dam 2012

Want to say I finally played this course after a couple of attempts that put me off. First attempt it was bitterly cold and I had my wife and family with me and they wanted out after a few holes, second attempt I had my two small children and they were actively mowing the field.

I questioned going ...

Re: Crane Hill Hill Evolves!

Lost a white Buzzz SS on hole 15 awhile ago if anyone finds it. It's to the left where the path to hole 16 is at the bend.

Lots of changes from the last time I played. Some good, some I question. Hopefully it is a work in progress and will continue to only get better. The one bit of advice I can ...

Re: Tully Master Plan for course completion 2012-2013

Looking good! Nice changes already and the planned ones sound like they will only make the course better. My wife (who doesn't play but sometimes comes along for the walk) stated that it is her favorite course so far with West Thompson being a close second.

Re: Update on the Wapack Wilderness Course -- 2012 News

I tried emailing you but got no response.

Is this course open for business now? I'd like to come up on a Thursday or Friday and check it out. Is there appropriate signage and a course map available for someone to be able to self navigate?

Re: Devens - The Hill: Devens, MA

Is parking now allowed on the course side of the road? The last couple of times I have been up cars have been parked there next to the access road across from the tree cutting area.

I thought this was a big "no-no"?

Re: Newton Hill

Lost an Orange ESP XL on hole 1 last week. Kicked off an early tree and went left into the woods. Heard it hit the leaves but couldn't find it. It can't have gone far, probably just slid under the foliage. Name and number is on the disc.

Re: Crane Hill Hill Evolves!

Played Crane for the first time Thursday. Big thanks to the guys who helped me with the navigation for holes 14-16. The map on DGCoursereview.com doesn't show the changes.

Had a fantastic time! The tee boxes are AWESOME and the course played very nice. Navigation could use some improvement, a few ...

Re: Coggshall Park 19 baskets

Been playing Coggshall off and on for awhile, just never joined the forum. Great course. The upper section is really coming along. Bumped into a few people the last time who were playing there for the first time. Thankfully I remembered the upper layout from the winter and gave them the nickel tour ...
