Makes sense. I would do it no problem. The more pre-sign up communication you have, the better.

Isn't the real question for TD's, if they would enforce the rules and DQ anyone that broke them? It wouldn't take long to clean up the tournament scene, probably. Unenforced rules get pretty much don't exist, in my quick opinion. DQ the entire foursome if you want to keep it clean.

This is great. I never knew about this. You have to be 50 + to compete in the National games, but 40+ to compete at the state level.

Drive to the cape the night before, sleep in your car, take the first ferry, and catch a ride to the course with anyone. You will easily make the ferry back same night.

There is no requirement to let a poll make policy decisions for the organization. (I don't think) but that may be where we are disagreeing. An email to elected official or dare I say PM would be a better way to affect policy. Maybe even a signed petition, but an online poll is as meaningful as ...

Has there been any thought to letting Pay to play courses apply for a loan, rather than a grant? We all want more courses, and PTP courses seem to have the built in ability to pay back the loans ...

I don't vote in uncontested races but don't assume I don't care to vote or who leads NEFA. I think the problem is not lack of voting, but lack of people willing to step up to run for leadership positions.
