We played a 22-hole layout each round, leveraging the newly-permanent hole 13b and 3 temp-holes on the perimeter of the hayfield.
NEDGC will be 2 rounds of 18.

Why were all the scores in the 70's at the NEFA event at Top O' earlier this year? Were there more than 18 holes per round? I've found ...

For example, last year I invented a little game called 3 blind mice where the players had to play 3 short holes blindfolded with the caddies guiding them. It was fun to watch them holding hands walking down the fairway and missing 3 foot putts! :D

Out of morbid curiosity would Danny post the 2015 revisionist standings somewhere?

I'm sure I benefited from high finishes in small fields last year and even I support the change - it makes sense.

Response from Breakin Chains below. Pins may not be reset for this weekend but should be for next (plus marked OB). OB will be added, it appears, to add some much needed challenge to easy holes (3) as well as keep people out of the few wet areas on the course.

Did a quick loop at lunch today. The course was set up for their ace race this past weekend:
Most pins in long position (where available) EXCEPT 9-13 and 16 short.

I'll inquire with Breakin Chains about when they expect to have the long pins back throughout...

To clarify, LFDT "fees" are deferred year-end payouts. The actual number is $5 for pro divisions, $3 advanced, and $1 intermediate.

There's no AM payout, Mike, so it appears $25 from ALL players goes to expenses.

Are the baskets still in the short position, or have they been moved in the last 2 weeks? Just curious as I've only played the short layout and would like to walk the course tomorrow morning before the tournament if they've moved.
