Re: **NEFA POINTS**Roosterpalooza At Cross Farms July 8 2012

Thanks to Shawn and Clay for taking the time and energy to organize a great tourney and show off my home course. Alas, home court advantage only took me so far. Woulda, coulda, shoulda. Lots of fun though and new friends.

I got my second career ace. X-Farms #9. Same hole, same disc as the first one. Skipped it in this time though. Les and Dave were there to witness.

I dont know if she reads these but I want to say "THANK YOU" to Sharon for returning my Star Sidewinder that I lost on #7. Not only did she call to let me know she found it, but she mailed it back to me!!

Not that's service. Hope I can repay the favor some day.

Found a red roc on the right side of hole five in the ferns, email address is something like cdwoodbo@yahoo.com. It's tough to return lost discs when you can't read the return info.

Tie die Teebird

Yesterday was a tough day for finding discs. The combination of fluffy snow and enough footprint made for some long searches. I lost my teebird on #5, it was heading left of the basket around the rocks. If someone finds it, please contact me and leave the disc on the course, I will come over and get ...

Went out today and added the pile of stone dust that was in front of the tee box on 5. Tamped it down and since I had the tamper out did some re-tamping on the front of some of the other tees. Again, it will really help if everyone takes the time to pack the tee box down with their feet after ...

Just got back from Cross Farms and the town crew has stone dust at every hole except 13 so far. Two bucket loads at most of the holes. I think they will make it to all the tees.

The composite lumber and brackets are all there like Tom said. He has also left some wooden stakes that we can use to ...

Tye Dye Beast

What was the name on the disc? I found a Tye Dye Beast about a week ago. Both my phone calls to the number on it have gone unanswered.

Found it!

I've got your disc. I'll bring it on Tuesday. If you want it sooner let me know.

No luck finding my tiedyed Star Teebird in the thick stuff to the right on 2.

Tuesday rounds

Les and Dave,

Are you guys playing XFarms every Tuesday? What time do you usually tee off? My Tuesdays have freed up again and I would be glad to join you.

BTW, any idea what happened to the lost disc return box at the first tee? I've managed to loose 2 drivers in the last 3 weeks and was ...

I'll be there for the workday

I'm planning on helping out again. I may have a conflict on the 17th however so I have not yet committed to the tourney.

With the snow and now all this rain on top of it, I don't know what shape the tee boxes are going to be in. Tree removal shouldn't be too bad though.

Bring a chainsaw?

I have a possible conflict watching my son run in the State Cross Country Championships, one of those OTHER events they hold at Wickham. I'm not sure if it's that weekend or not but otherwise I'll be happy to help.

Deuces

I deuced 7, 9 and 15 yesterday. Would have been a good round if it weren't for 2 5's and a 6.

On 7 I was in the woods to the left and threw a big hyzer through a small opening just hoping to advance the disc. When I heard the "ka-ching" I ran up to the road to see my Beast nestled in the basket ...

Thanks to all the guys for "showing me the ropes" last night at Cross Farms. I learned a lot and can't wait to get out again and work on my game. I went to sleep last night picturing my drive on 17. Special thanks for the post round Arch Amber, very tasty!

In my backyard

I am a beginning player and Cross Farms is the first and only course I have ever played. I can walk to the course, play a round, and walk home in 90 minutes. Being a novice, I have nothing to compare this course to, but I've definitely "caught the bug".

I am already dealing with my first disc ...
