I went and played Ninigret for the first time this past weekend & had a blast. Seems like the course has gotten a bad rap on DGCR, but I had a ton of fun out there. I could see how it could be unpleasant in the summer (swampy, buggy, and thick rough), but with about 3-4 inches of snow everywhere it ...

I've played Bay Oaks in Fort Myers Beach and would not recommend it. I played it in the middle of summer (like 105 degrees), so my experience might be a little different than yours, but it was unbelievably buggy, stunk of rotting swamp, and had a terrible layout. Apparently it's only half playable ...

The Top O' the Hill tournament last summer was one of the most fun times I've had playing disc golf, period. This is a great piece of land and a really challenging, diverse course. Really sad news here. Dave was a great friend to disc golfers and a great promoter of the sport in this area. Ran awesome tournaments and always had a smile or something ...

Not 100% sure that the tees are clear right now. They were on Sunday but we got an inch or so since then. Anyone been out since sunday know the condition? I really think they should be fine tho.

Snow isn't bad at all only a few inches with bare spots in places that get sun, a little deeper on 5,6 ...

Hey there CrossFarmers... how's the course look these days? I was thinking about making the drive down tomorrow but wasn't sure what the snow situation was looking like. Tees clear? How deep is the snow on the fairways? Thanks for any info!

That's great, Matt. Glad you enjoyed it! Hopefully we can meet up for a round in the near future. We will be doing some work days in the upcoming weeks after students get back from spring break.

Played a quick round here last night after work... had a blast playing DG a mile from my house. Really looking forward to seeing how this course develops - I like the layout the way it is now and see a ton of potential for the expansion to a full 18.

If you are coming the day of the tourney, the only two boats that will get you there on time to the players meeting are the 6am and the 7am. That means that we will have locals shuttling people to the course at 6:45 and 7:45 ONLY. We will go back and forth until all players are picked up. Again ...

Matt there is usually power strips there for us to use just bring the crock pot.

Can a local give us a snow conditions update? How deep? Crusty, fluffy? Will we need gaiters? Microspikes? Thanks
