Re: Choice Plastic For Sale

So I'll be honest, I was never really an eagle thrower, but did they make the KC (I'll send you a picture if you pm me your email) Eagle in an L mold? I thought they only made champion. This is a KC PRO Plastic (first plastic after CE) disc.

Choice Plastic For Sale

Clearing up some space, decided I'd offer some choice beauties up for sale, see prices listed or make an offer:

175g 11x KC Teebird - CA mold, would rate 8/10 conservatively on the forum scale. Has PDGA number on inside rim, and faded ink from previous owner (#3919) Bright Orange w/ Black Stamp $75 ...

Re: New Canaan - The Wave needs 18 holes!

The blueberry course really never achieved what it was set out to do, I assume that in the next couple of years there will be a change there to utilize those baskets better. The wave is unfortunate in the sense that the beauty in that course was the contrast between the open and the woods holes. Did ...

Re: New Canaan - The Wave needs 18 holes!

The wave is technically the closest course for me, I played it a few weekends ago. A little overgrown in a couple spots, but definitely still around. One thing I might note, the Wave is in NEW CANAAN which is about an hour from Canaan (which is the town next to collinsville). If you end up swinging ...

Re: PDGA Sanctioned Leagues Available This March 2012

Some clarification I've seen:

1 - Fee is $1, but .50 goes to PDGA, .50 to League/Course for admin fees (I'm sure if someone running it wanted, they could just charge .50 over.

Personally, this is a great addition to the pdga services, and actually might improve rating quality much further. In ball ...

Re: Disc Golfers & Hunters

I can see where people are coming from that didn't grow up around guns, based on our conditioning (tv, movies, after school specials), and hunting ( Disney movies were the worst thing that ever happened to hunting).

What upsets me is people like Craig who played with guns when they were young. Our ...

Re: Disc Golfers & Hunters

I disc golf, and I hunt.

New Rule: If you don't dispense of the animal yourself, you can't eat it. If you were an animal would you want to get killed in the woods after experiencing freedom, or be bred to be food ( watch one of those YouTube slaughterhouse videos).

Re: 2012 GHdgO

Shawn,

Like I said that is usually done with an event that won't fill. A lot of A-Tiers don't, I am sure the GHDGO will, but in the case that it doesn't, that is an option. You are correct in saying that the total dollars will be smaller, however the dollar/player will actually increase for every ...

Re: 2012 GHdgO

Karl makes an interesting point.

I know some tournaments have instituted a couple different registration methods to help ease the movement from am to pro, now while I know Karl doesn't have aspirations of moving to pro, this method might still be beneficial. I believe trophy only fee is what they ...

Re: Severe case of TD burnout

So I took a look at the PDGA Schedule, and noticed that the March 31/April 1 weekend is listing the Philly Open. I guess we are already experiencing fallout from not having Bill at the reigns, hopefully we can get someone to step up to run what has always been my favorite start to the season.

Bill,

Say it ain't so...

FDR Fools fest has consistently been one of my favorite tournaments, so many great memories. Amazing and Creative CTP/Prize Pack's. I still use my Brooklyn Brewery Hefeweizen glass on a regular basis. Always the best way to start the year.

Just wanted to get in Smolin, but now no such luck with work. Plan was also to attempt to turn the AM crowd into a bunch complainers so that I could just play into PRO

But alas, shuttle flight to DC for the week now. At least I can still hit doubles up on sunday.
