ESPNRadio - Brass Bonanza

Post by Dave Mourad »

In response to Jeff's post on the OLDE Board...

Long Live the WHALE! Apparently the song has more longevity than either the team OR the league.

In the background of a UConn basketball radio broadcast, I heard the pep band perform an amazing rendiition of it.

The Whalers used to play the tune before the warmup skate, and after EVERY goal. Me thinks I should haul around a boom box and crank BB after every shot that's good for a birdie or better

Groovy indeed :afro:

EOM...out

Brass Bonanza is still being played every day on ESPN Radio sometime between 6 and 7 PM. Host Erik Kuselias loves it!
