Anyone want to help get a public course in Augusta,ME?

Post by Greg Hinkley »

I was contacted by The City of Augusta about land they want to develope for recreation uses. They are planning Mountain Biking, Cross country skiing and other uses for the land. The course would not share the same space as the bikers and skiers so foot traffic is not an issue.

They are at the stage of estimating costs for the various activities and have let me know that they are open to having a course included in this proposal.

The problem for me is that I do not have the time or to do the presentation/legwork to get this off the ground.

If anyone is interested in spearheading this free public course in Augusta,Me I can get you in touch with the proper people.

The land they have has all you need to build a nice course.
