A Crane Hill Thank You!

Those of you who play Crane Hill no doubt appreciate how well the meadow fairways were kept mowed this past season. This is a labor of love by Mike, who grew up across the street and has had a close tie with this land all his life. He and his family have embraced the idea of disc golf being played here, and have been extremely supportive.

I think, therefore, a little thank you is in order. On behalf of the Crane Hill disc golfers, it would be nice to present Mike with a gas card of at least $100 in appreciation of all the mowing work he does. I'm throwing in $25 as is Ken Wagner, an up and coming grandmaster who lives across the road and has really caught the disc golf bug.

So that leaves us with $50 to go, or however much you folks are willing to contribute. Any amount no matter how modest would be appreciated. Please send to,

We are already up to over $100 in contributions-- thanks to all who have been so generous!

I will keep the appeal for solicitations open one more week-- Crane Hill players can catch me at the Auction doubles if they wish; then purchase and send the gas card along to Mike with a "thank you" card listing all who have contributed.

last Thursday I sent out a thank you note, and a gas card for $140 to Mike the Mower.

On the card, I listed everyone who contributed. Thank you all so much for your generosity!
