I have been talking with a guy that owns alot of land. Over the summer I have met with him many of times to talk about a disc golf course. I have went to his land with Dave Boliver, Aaron Ala, Shaun Laforce and others. We walked it many of times and came up with a layout. I past on all the information to the owner and he told me he would work on it. It has been months and I have heard nothing. Then last night I went to Hyland brewery and he was there. He really surprised me when he said everthing is working out good. He said it looks real good right now that this is going to happen. He talked with his partners and they are willing to invest the money it will take to build a real nice course. This will include, the top of line baskets,(covered)

concrete T boxes, and nice T signs. The last step that he faces is the conservation commision for the town. Since there is wet lands they want to take a look at how this will effect them. Luckly for us we stay away from wet lands. He does not think they will have a problem with it at all.
So we will keep our fingers crossed and maybe by early spring we will have a new kick a** course.
This course will be located on Kelly rd off of Rt 15 in Sturbridge. Two miles from the pike and two minutes off of 84. It will be a pay to play course and it will have a club house that will act as a kiosk and lost disc drop off. It will also serve as a place to hang out and shelter us from the weather.
I would like to say that I have no control over how this turns out, but I will do whatever it takes to make this happen. Some said that I could not build a course in two months and have a tournament. I think it worked out just fine, in fact some say it was the best.
I will let you know, when I know more.
If you don't pay or play how can improvements be made.
