Pocket scorecards

Post by Stephen Ditter »

I have been selling pocket scorecards to support the CT disc golf scene. Heroes is the latest addition to the program. Other courses that have benefited are: Wickham Park,Panthorn,Cross Farms and West Thompson.

If you are interested in purchasing pocket scorecards to support CT disc golf, either contact me or visit Utopiadiscgolf.com.

I will also make custom orders upon request.

Thanks

These scorecards are awesome and they benefit the courses we play immensely.
Waterproof and erasable with a regular #2 pencil.

Buy one!

The current format is 5 players 18 holes. I might be able to cut it down to 3 players 27 holes. There's also the option of making a larger card which would still be waterproof and reusable, just not pocket size (maybe golf bag pocket size)

I'll see what I can come up with.

I noticed that there is a place to total the IN and the OUT, but not the TOTAL on the card. Just an observation.

The cards are great though! You should all buy them!

Dittercards are awesome. I'd pay handsomely for a larger version, like back pocket sized (say 3"x 5" -ish).

I have been testing them out and they are pretty sweet. I have logged about 6 rounds using the cards. I noticed that after erasing several times, it becomes difficult to write the numbers in those spots. Is there anything that can be done to 'retouch' the surface? I'm thinking of taking a high grit sandpaper lightly to the card to see if that helps...just wondering if anyone else noticed that.

Yeah, the more you erase in one spot, the lighter it is when you write on it.

Yes, use a high grit sandpaper, 320 or 400 grit should do the trick. Anytime a plastic is "polished" (and an eraser would do something like that) the molecules 'close up' and the surface becomes extremely smooth, thus not allowing the pencil to become legible. Grain the card in a figure 8 motion, instead of horizontal or vertical, and you'll get more surface penetration from the sandpaper.

Ditter, send me a PM and I'll buy some of those. thanks, jimbo

Sweet, that's what I was thinking. I'm going to give it a shot. If that works out, I'll take them to the board and inquire about purcahsing them for the club members. Ditter is the man!

Aubin,

I cut down some Wick scorecards and made a few 4x6 waterproof demo's at the end of last season. They weren't matte like the pocket scorecards, so the gloss areas have to be sanded with fine paper to allow clear markings with a #2 pencil.

Get me the hole distances for Thorn and I'll make some up for you.

That is so true. I have had a skull soap in my car since the last Tuesday Wick league and it still smells as good as the first day.

Aubin,

Do you want one of the Wick demo's or just a generic 1-18 hole scorecard?
