Different Colored Soft Challengers

Post by Jeff Tavolacci »

Any soft challenger throwers out there notice different colors have different feels? I use them off the tee and for putts. I've had blue, purple, red, yellow and white and they have all felt different. White is my favorite feel for throwing but ya can't throw it in the snow.

Anyone know which colored Soft Challenger has the same feel as the white guys?

Yeah, you kinda left the door wide open on that one Jeff...
and in the end
we have learned
to love the journey
and not the destination...

In the end, my friend, we will all be together again...

Soft challengers are the only putters I use. Magnets suck. I have noticed that some of the new batches available at Marshall street arent as chalky as the ones I have. They feel more like the regular challenger. I hope Discraft sticks with the chalky plastic. Throw Discraft.

similar issue

Post by Dennis Parslow »

I have a similar issue with KC Aviars....last year I bought a bunch of white ones with rainbow stamps, and Rancho... on the back. They were the grippiest 12x KC Aviars I have picked up.

Since then, they changed the mold to say innovadiscs.com and they are not as grippy. I even tried a few yellow ones and they don't have the grip. No idea how this happens, but I've confirmed it by trying every one I could find.

So, I'm sure you're right that the Challengers you found in white could be different than other colors.
