What the big deal?
What is the big deal about "1st run" I hear it a lot and it sounds like having a rookie card. Is that it? Does it have some magic pin-seeking abilities? Only half-joking, can someone fill me in?

I heard something before about the mold that is created to make discs gets worn out after x amount of uses. The first run discs have the crispest edges and mold features because it was not used yet. Could be hogwash, but I bought it.

Haha, I've been throwing sidearms with the now beat 1st run champ. boss in my bag now since Vibram round 2 last year, and it's been getting me over the longest holes (MH Blue 1, Buff 27, etc.) without many troubles. The only time I've lost it was an errant backhand on 16 at WT that went onto the snowy ice, but I got it back. The disc you found of mine was a first run esp force, Karl, those aren't as special, but thanks!
The "deal" with 1st run star destroyers and 1st run champion bosses are that they were not as domey and are less stable at high speeds than later runs, letting them fly further with less effort, while still being dependable into headwinds (moreso the boss). If you study the domes and plastics of some other runs out there, and test a bunch out, you will find regular ones that fly similarly, but the 1st runs are the bomb, and they have a cool star stamp on them
