Pope John Paul II Park Course!

Post by Nathan Robbins »

Hey all PJP II disc golf enthusiasts,

I know I havent posted anything in a long while...too long. For that I apologize.

I was excited to sign back on to the forum and see ongoing discussion about the course.

Rob McArthur, and I have been working on the project throughout the fall and winter. We are getting even closer to making this course a reality. Hopefully this summer! FOR REAL!!! So please keep this project in your mind.

Also, after a long process with Innova we did get all those discs made. I want to get them all to you soon. I still have your addresses so I can ship them to you. However, I thought that I (and Rob) could possibly meet many of you at Borderland, and hand deliver them to you. Also, it would be a good opportunity for us to catch up, and also talk about what progress has been made on the course. By the way we are now officially calling it the "Neponset River Disc Golf Course."

Again very sorry for keeping you in the dark for so many months. I truly appreciate all of your support in this project. I assure you all that Rob and I are committed to getting this course built.

Please chime in...it would be great to hear from you all. Also, is the Borderland league still meeting on thursdays? I could head down there to meet, drop off those discs, and maybe play a round. Just let me know when is a good day.

All the best,
Nathan Robbins

Hey Nathan
the league will start soon enough, but not yet.
Loving that the course is getting some gears rolling. I know some of the people that were there for the league that we had will probably not be down to the league on thursday. But you can always hand them to me and I can pass them out once I see them, But it might be good to mail them with a little note talking about the production you are doing for the course.
Anyways good to here from you and rob (not tatro)
We will see you soon

This is great news!
Thanks Nathan for doing all this, and let me know if and when you guys need a hand with the labor. Me and some other guys live right up the street. It would be SICK to have that course put in this summer!

Yes! PM me when the time for labor arrives. Will work for disc golf in the city. I have a gang of partially employed disc heads looking for a sense of accomplishment.

I have limited time and abilities (my wife keeps me away from power tools most of the time for a good reason  ), but am glad to help with what I can...
