tournaments that play multiple holes/courses

Post by Dave White »

What do you think about the tournaments that play a new hole set up for each round, some of the best tournaments do it-msdgc,borderland, amsbury- but some don't -wickham,dragon,no.calias(sp)vt.
I like the chance to play all the layouts but I really like the chance to play the hole over again the next round.

i personally enjoy multiple layouts, desipite having gotten burned by the format before (group played the wrong pin ). especially when travelling to courses I do not get to play very much, I love the chance to see more of what the course has to offer. While I agree the chance to "redeem" myself by playing a same hole better during the 2nd round, I'd rather have it mixed up a bit. Keeps it interesting, especially on those 2-day events (couldnt imagine playing only 1 layout all 4 rounds at animalfest)
