TRIED TO POST A DIVING SCENARIO, BUTT APPARENTLY THEY LIMIT THE
TOTAL NUMBER OF SMILIES IN ANY ONE POST TO 10.

THAT SUCKS

Joe, Joe... Here I am in the fetid traffic plugged, heat stroked apocalypse of Northern Virginia, to attend my niece's wedding tomorrow, and trying
to find a little bit of tasteful information and entertainment on the NEFA pages, when, what do I run across but degenerate puffings of bloated rhetoric from the likes of you.

I am almost disgusted enough to resume our haiku war...

Or, shall we have the chance to duel in person, July 3? (The new holes are great.)

I've moved some players to new divisions, and sense I've missed a couple requests for division swapping.

-------------------------------------------------------------

So, would Mike D and Timmy Walsh be considered ringers in DDC? Wow. Let me answer that question with another question:

If I take my morning coffee over the computer to read nefa discussion, and one question is so ludicrous, and silly, and dumb, yet it's asked in all seriousness, so that I laugh so hard and abruptly that coffee shoots out both nostrils, is that good for my sinuses? Cause my sinuses feel really clear ever since I read that this morning.

--------------------------------------------------------------

Unfortunately, Jim Bobka informed me a couple weeks ago that we will not be able to product trophies for this tournament, so I better come up with a brilliant idea soon.

------------------------------------------------------------------

Scotty Pyle and Daniel Marcus are in. Felix Rentschler and Greg Wintrob are on deck.

So is there such a thing as an official in DDC...? Will we have a "Special Guest Referee" for the night...?

Hey, does anyone have phone numbers for Scotty Pyle and Felix Rentschler? Wintrob is now on deck.

I changed a few players' divisions upon request, but have a sneaking suspicion I missed one or two requests. Who else would like to change divisions?

As for the DDC List:

Jason Southwick & Sean Curcio
Daniel Mahhcus & Matt "Don't call me Stroika" Sroka
Mike Dussault & Timothy Walsh
Troy Dietrich & Titan Bariloni
Bill Person & Mark Valis

If that's everybody so far there are spots left for three teams.

And there will be no DDC referees, unless you count hecklers.

Is there an official waitlist for this shindig? I posted for the waitlist a week or so ago and I'm curious where I fall on that list and whether I should bother driving down on Saturday morning. If I get in I will find a partner for DDC. Adam Dodge

Scotty Pyle is extremely doubtful, having already left for New Hampshire. Felix Rentshler can't come, so he's out.

Wintrob is in. I didn't really keep much of a list after than except that Lefty has rights, too. I unfortunately don't know who lefty is (unless that's Patrick Barnett), so that didn't register. I don't believe anonymous posters should have rights, btw.

After that, without going back, Siersdale inquired early, as did Lefty. James Lane wanted in but before James Lane declared, TeeJ left a phone message with the Pro Shop guys. This doesn't include maybe other people who might have declared their wait list status.

I'll have to go back through the pages of this thread to call the absolute next winner, and my emails. And look again at the list.

Who wants to play DDC tomorrow, Friday, night?

probablly going to be worse than a league night... I'd suggest car pool and get there early.

speaking of early... Has anyone seen a schedule for this shindig? What time is check-in/players meeting/tee-off?

Haha, thanks. How early is early, do you think? Is 9:00 AM early enough?

Definitely going to carpool. Even then, I'm imagining some severe "boxing in" and cars all the way to #17's tee.

Find a partner for DDC and you won't have to worry about being "boxed in".

I've never played DDC before in my life. In fact, I know nothing about it aside from a YouTube vid I saw a while back.

Don't think anyone would want to partner with me ;)

We should partner for DDC. Two noobs with almost NO knowledge of DDC. I understand the basic rules, but we'd have zero coordination for attacks. I'm pretty sure it would be the quickest, funniest match ever played...

Yes, we might have to do this. I'm pretty sure my first toss at DDC would go farther than my upcoming drive on #13.
