hey i realize this is dragging up 3-year-old wounds, but does sugarbush still put a massive hold on your card when you stay there? they put a hold on my debit card for over 3x what my room was going to cost to stay when I was up there for the first sugarbush open, and while I understand WHY they do it (helps them ensure they cover to-the-room expenses like use of the spa facilities, room service etc) they also never TOLD us about it up front. We ended up ok but I know some other golfers got screwed with their credit card companies by suddenly being "over the limit" since a hold still counts against your credit line even though it isn't an actual transaction of money being charged. If this is still something they do, people should know their policy and make sure you ASK THEM how much of a hold they are going to put on your card.

that said, we were super happy with our actual unit when we stayed there and I'm looking forward to making it back up there again for another event.

The hostel is an awesome place run by awesome people. It's a solid choice. Of course, it's great to support Sugarbush as our hosts and great investors in the local disc golf scene. The APMD Inn (as I guess it's now called) will be having the usual evening festivities and all are welcome.

It's with regret that I must inform the proprietor of the fine APMD Inn that I will not be spending the night tomorrow. I got a hotel with some fellow Devenites. However I still look forward to a fun time there in the evening... cartoon unicorns or not. But at least it saves one person from sleeping outside as some floor space just opened up.
