So...with October over and November here...any thoughts on dates and locations? There are some obvious dates out Christmas/New Years and I know the weekends of January 15th and the 22nd are out as well. Also...courses??
'Tis the Season for Crushing Courses!!!

Early December sounds much wiser. I don't think that TullyRock cares to much where it's played as long as it isn't at BLand(to much local course knowledge). We just want to have FUN thats all.l
Crane Hill is a good neutral course, but maybe a bit far from Borderland. Devens could always be an option. It would be nice to not have it be too far for the Borderlands guys to drive, but there aren't any other courses anywhere towards Easton, except Normady Farms and we aren't playing there. Hodges unfortunately isn't going to make enough sense. West Thompson? Still a bit of a hike for you guys. Amesbury and Pye Brook are also a bit out of the way.
Sometimes I wonder, "Why is that disc getting bigger?". Then it hits me.
Problem with Newton Hill is its too close to the school. No good place for lunch break/beverages. I think Pyramids is the best bet. Everybody's played it=neutral and its right in the middle. Plus the owner is . If you don't believe me check out my latest post on the Coggshall thread.
I'd love any of the mentioned courses. I think my vote would go MH, Pyramids, Devens. From where most of BLand is coming from, Devens is a little closer than the others, but not by much.
I know there are quite a few rules to playing at Sturbridge, such as you have to be in a group with a member of the course. It is $5 a round. It would be interesting to look into it. Maybe some TR players who are members can look into it.
Some of the wussier folk dislike the hill courses in the winter. They worry about falling and getting a booboo. I guess either beer or fat can alleviate that problem, since you either bounce more or care less.

My first vote has always been Hyland if we could make it work with the powers that be... but I also wouldn't mind pyramids or maple hill in that order.
The original Devens slogan was "All Hill, All The Time!"
There is a good chance that this match will be pre-snow, so things may not be icy. Part of the fun for me with the Team Challenge is that I get to try new courses. We only have one away match this year, three hours north. I like Hyland because it is somewhere that I've been wanting to play, not because I like the course. Not having played there, I have yet to form an opinion. Someone should run this by Don Boutin because it may not be an option. If that is the case, we can stop talking about it.

I believe Steve D is trying to set up big team Challenge at Hyland's this year..so lets shy away from that..and the travel sucks from here..funky way to get there..
Maple Hill...no thanks in the middle of winter...call me a meow..but honestly not trying to play survivor guy playing DG...
We are trying to get our dates together and will let you know ASAP. Maybe we can say Pyramids if we play in December and/or Maple Hill if we play in January...?

We are looking at late January for a date and sounding like we are aiming for Pyramids. Trying to change the thread header, but can't figure it out...HELP! Any concerns with either of these??

The earlier we play, the less white stuff we have to contend with (in theory). Also, once January hits, it will be Ice Bowl season and harder to find dates that everyone can make.
