Hole 9 is going to be alot of fun when the lake is frozen. Big skipping shots across the ice. yeaa
Is it possible to do some sort of fund raising for a stair case? Making it possible to play either tee position would add alot to the course. Even more importantly, a staircase would make it possible to get to the peninsula without wading through the high waters of spring. With the course flowing in that direction, players would have to walk up the rocks to get over to the peninsula.

Keith M and I moved the extra basket in the field behind the ranger station to "old 12"s location, and the basket behind the rockpile on 11 will soon be moved to old 13's spot....

with the mini 9 plus the 2 above holes, then playing back up hole 18, we have an extended 12 hole AM course....

mini 12???? that doesnt sound quite right....

how about the "tiny 12"???? AM 12????

thanks Tim for letting us drive to the baskets.... i think it was one of Keith's long-time dreams

of course, we still need to close of the sand on the new teeboxes.... lets plan a workday before it gets cold!

You know, it's a much shorter distance to the top of the dam from where old 13 was. a staircase might be more realistic there, and you walk over to old 16. Then you got more than just a 'mini 12' or a 'bakers 9' or whatever ya call it. Probably can come up with a solid alternate 18 using some of these new holes. i think it'd make old 16 better than ever too, since you're not hiking all the way from old 15.

Oh! By the way, new hole 15/old hole 27... is this thing like, a Par 2 from the AM box? Or am I doing it wrong? It just seems really really close. I know there's the pro box up on the dam, but is the AM box the old 19/27 dual purpose ginsu tee box?

We saw a GIANT stump grinder at Buff yesterday. They cleared most of the gnarly stuff on 2-9. It is a huge improvement!

Did it say "Hogzilla" on the side? That is the same one from Tully job, left us two huge mountains of wood chips(ground up stumps). Great stuff for spreading around all the teepads and around all the baskets.

I told you people
Give it time and Buff will impress.
From what I heard all stumps on the other side are going to be grinded up as well.

Wooo! I can only imagine. Well that's not exactly true, .. I can go & play, now that I think of it.

Thanks. This hole makes it hard to resist playing all the pro boxes, now that the new placement is so close to the AM box..

I'm gonna have to get me some double stamped DX or something to keep in the bag, just for throwing into Buffumville Lake!

ended up playing a round sunday morning, and realized that Buffumville is actually 27 unique holes again. this alternate family course/mini 12/bakers 9/half a remnant of an old course of days long forgotten - amounts to exactly nine more holes - nine that are not part of the new and improved 18, knahmsayin.

1 Old 6
2 Old 7
3 Old 8
4 Old 9
5 Old 10, you see where this is goin
6 Old 11
7 Old 12
8 Old 13

drum roll...

9 Old 3

Course, that rumor of the return of the basket to old 13 has to uh, .. fruitiate. For that to like, make it nine man. 8-)
:drunken: I played it to the placement up in the imaginarily wooded hill, got a four cuz I decided to be strict about hitting that little knob of a sleeve cover thingy of a muh-bob.

Course is looking so great, can't believe the new Buffumville is here.

It's like we're living in the future.
