Message Board distance or Real, go out to a flat field with a measuring device, distance? There's a lot of players that don't know the difference

I can only throw it about 300' but I have an 495' ace!

I throw between 370 and 400 when I drive hole 2 at B-land, white to white (430' I believe). It's very flat, with a lot of room side to side to get a full s-curve. The ones that get closer to 400 usually have some wind help.

I have no idea... If I tried to throw for max D, the disc would whip around the Earth so fast that time would go backwards, resulting in the disc going back in the bag for a net distance of zero. :(

I love distance conversations. It's like a bunch of fishermen lying about how big of a fish they caught. Not that anyone here is lying.

Personally I throw 500' max and 495' with accuracy. Throwing down a mountain I can get it out to about 5000'.

I have unloaded my BAG on a football field a number of times. It's fun to see what your disc will do in an open field.

I usually throw from the goal post on one side and try to reach the goal post on the other side. That's 360'. I usually gather everything from a stalker to a boss from the other endzone. My best throws have been with my Valk, Surge and Nuke (of course) and I am very happy when they split the upright and carry about 400'.

My BEST/Farthest was my Valk at about 420' (unless you want to count my duece on hole 17 over the water at Hodges which is listed as 500'. If that's true then my Nuke flew 485' slightly down hill.)

Keep dreamin Sean. Ive thrown with you on a few occasions at the Athol High school and I havent seen you one of your discs past the 10 yard line at the other end.. unless I threw it. Those must be my throws youre thinking of. But you got the disc wrong. I throw buzzes for field goals from the other end. Dont worry noodle arm. Ill give ya a few pointers next time. :D

My Star Boss has seen the far side of the 400 rock on #12 at Hyzer....... twice at April Showers this past year AND I carded the 3 both times.

We've set flags every 50' on hole #9 at J-Park all the way to 400'. I've been out past the 350' flag a few times this year. Champ Wraith is gettin' the most D for me lately.

thats a great idea... im going to ask if this could be done at Buff on our new Hole 1....

i can get my 300 regularly... anything longer than that needs to be a PERFECT throw....

since this is only my second year (first year was summer of '99) i dont feel so bad...

i find great practice to be finding a big soccer field, and using the nets as a target....
