I'm not sure this really qualifies as a rules question, but I figured this is the best place to ask this question. In order to play in the masters division, do you need to turn 40, or do you qualify for the division for the whole year in which you turn 40?
I looked on PDGA.com and I am still confused as to how this works...thanks.

Re: Masters question
If you turn 40 during the calendar year all the way thru Dec 31st, you may enter Masters on Jan 1st of that year. Some players were never 40 in any events they played during the year they turned 40.

Re: Masters question
Thanks Chuck - I thought that was the case but wanted to make sure.
Nick - always great playing with you. I looked at the advanced masters scores and I would have finished 2nd instead of last in AM1. I am taking the masters division by storm next year!!!
