cool! Thanks guys, I am sure I will need help with something. I will be trying to get the rest of the things done this week. Lighting the fires on 2,7,11,and 15 would help for sure.

Looks like we are in for some snow. I was hoping this was not going to happen right before the tournament. I can assure all of you planning on playing, the Tee boxes will be clear and dry.

That away Kieth.
I will up the stakes a little. The best score for singles in pro and am will win a one year membership to HYland. Already a member? No problem I will let you give it to someone you can trust to be a member.
There will be a few of use battling the snow there today..

Yes there is a lot of snow. 1-5,6,8,9,and 10 are cleared. 7 was skipped because of wind drifts. I will be back out there around 2:30 today. I hope two rounds can still be played.
There is no way a pizza delivery will ever work out. There is no telling when the first round will get over. If you want to order lunch I suggest you call when you have one hole left. They deliver. This will be the only way you will have a hot pizza or grinder.
The chili cook off will be starting at 1 inside. For $10 you can eat a lot of chili. There will be 28 different kinds of chili. This may just work out with the end of the first round.
If you really want to make sure you have lunch, bring something.
Using chalk line chalk on your disc can help with finding them. Get it at home depot, lowes, or any hardware store.
I think the rule of re-teeing and penalty stroke for a lost disc will have to waived for this one. Make a group decision where the disc landed and throw from there. Look for it but don't take that long. Your not getting stroked. Use discs that your going to mind loosing. Approach with finesse and try to keep the disc on top of the snow.
Do to limited parking I ask people try to meet at park and rides in Sturbridge and share a ride to the course. Behind Cracker Barrel on rt 20 and next Yankees spirits and Burger king on rt 20. Thanks

Dont rely on chili. It will not served until 2pm so that will not work for lunch.
All boxes are cleared.

If you've ever done some construction, there's a tool called a Chalk Line. Basically a string in a retractable case that holds fine, colored chalk dust. When you pull the string out, lay it across a sheet of plywood & "snap" it, you leave a chalk line.

Use this same chalk on your disc and it leaves a colored chalk mark where it enters the snow.

Don, I am assuming you could still use help before the tournament. I am planning on being there at about 6 to help with anything you need. If anyone wants to carpool from Crane Hill area to help out before, let me know (I know it's early, I'll be leaving Wilbraham at about 5:30 am). FYI I'll be leaving soon after the tournament ends to head back.

Thanks guys for trying to car pool!

See you in the am Billy, thanks for making the trip.

Parking is not going to be as bad as I thought, I had the parking lots plowed. Use the left field next to hole one entrance. Please pass this on to others.
I know it's late, but a few details to sleep on. No OB in the first round. Play from where it lies. I think it may make things flow a little quicker. Stream on 10 is very casual.
Look at board to see the different prizes for first round, so you know about them.
Bring some wood if you can!

Wow! what a day 36 Brave souls showed up and played. Don is the man for all he does for the sport. lots of fun and beer for all. And the Brewery had a chili cook off to top it all off. What a venue for Disc Golf I cant wait till next year when the Brewery has a team for the challenge.

Thanks..... To all 36 of you for playing. Dave for helping out with Td'ing. The two newest disc golfers at Hyland, for spotting on hole 7. Even Jason for helping me out when I did not think people where going to finish before dark and had no idea what to do.
I don't know about you, but I am beat. Scores, prize winners, and pictures posted tomorrow.
