Since the series is kinda a "work in progress" standings won't be up until end of Jan...sorry

Lots of things had to be ironed out....points input and method...with the recent board issue it has set that back a lil...

also the main goal of this is to attract players to NEFA for long term membership....so unlike the single series players have a grace period to sign up for Nefa...to receive points...for several reasons... the main one being series started in Oct..so it seems unfair to newer players to hit them twice for dues..once this year and once in 2011..hopefully in future I would like to set up a reverse grace period..and if you sign up for nefa after say Oct 31st for ex..then your good till next year..or something..we shall see

Also I need to accumulate all nefa numbers for players in the events..I have most already documented....I have made a TD sheet I will make sure gets out to all NDS TD's soon so I can have all that info from the gate in the future....

We also made a pre series change up before the first event....bringing the series in a slightly different direction...before it was qualify 3 with 1 person or team...now its play 3..and any player that has played 3 events will thus create a "pool" of players..and those players may hook up for Finals..although most will be using the same partner all year...just did not want to limit things having a weak field at Finals....

Divisions winners will be based on team(s) that played 3 events or more together..so you can bounce around but it will affect the chance of winning the "bragging rights" for that division..since there is no regular season payout...bragging rights and trophies only..

The main emphasis will be on the "Finals"

Make sense and in summary end of Jan is the plan for standings after the 2 Maine events

Any other questions feel free to fire...suggestions are also very welcomed and encouraged, it will only help the series grow with some fresh POV's....!

Is there an appropriate division for a mixed group of a guy and girl playing on a team while still staying competitive. Especially if the girl has to carry you the whole time?
