I will be staying in Lyndonville, VT for a week in March. Planning to do some skiing @ Jay Peak and Burke Mountain as well as some cross country skiing at the Kingdom Trails. I was hoping to get in some winter golf as well.
Are the northern VT golf courses kept playable this time of year? I was eyeing the Lyndon St College course near Burke and also the North Calais course. I know it is private and I know there is always a crapload of snow in VT. I am used to tromping through large amounts of snow, but if there is a course in that area that gets regular winter play then that would be a huge bonus.
Any suggestions are appreciated. Seems I only get to VT in the winter for skiing trips so it may be my only chance to play the courses.

Re: Northern VT courses
Cherry Hill and Blackfalls are right on the backside of Jay Peak. There will still be a ton of snow though. Calais is only open for monthly tournaments and will also have a ton of snow. Lyndonville will probably have the least snow and is a good course.

All courses will be like the frozen tundra. It will be easy to stay on top and unless we get 4" or more of snow you will not need ribbons.

Congrats on the wedding!
Waterbury stays the most playable of the bunch and its close to Stowe. But, yeah, its frozen and crusty.

Ha!!
I'd love to join you, but I'll be patrolling up at the 'bush.
Shoot me a pm if you want to come skiing.
