This time do you want our top 5 players to play?

Re: 2010/11 Team Challenge Schedule, Results and Standings
For the B pool finals I would highly suggest a locale with 2 courses close to each other, Hodges/Buff... Mape/Pyramids
b/c trying to fit potentially 144 golfers on 18 holes means alot of people are gonna be sitting.

Why would it be 144 golfers?
4 teams with 14
5 teams with 12

How does the tie get broken between the last 3 a-pool teams(2-3), to determine who is the fourth seed(gets to bring 14 players to finals)?

I know the answer is probably somewhere in this thread, just don't feel like hunting for it.

does a team get to bring every member to Finals..and rotate their team members each round..? or is the 12 players set in stone for day..?
sounds stupid..I just don't know the correct answer and don't wanna assume

good question.
I am sure Todd is thinking about it, but if I were still running the league, this is how I would break it down.
This is in no particular order just showing my thoughts:
Cranbury: Tolland (W), B-Land (W), Bennett (L), Wick (L), Burgess (L)
Capt L: Tolland (W), NASA (W), Bennett (L), Wick (L), Burgess (L)
NASA: Tolland (W), Burgess (W), Bennett (L), Wick (L), Capt L (L)
So, the teams all have one thing in common, they all defeated Tolland and lost to Bennett and Wick.
Thus,
Cranbury: B-Land (W), Burgess (L)
Capt L: NASA (W), Burgess (L)
NASA: Burgess (W), Capt L (L) (I think this should eliminate NASA from the discussion, seeing as they are the only team from this pool that lost to another team in the Pool.
So, Cranbury vs. Capt. L: Both teams are traveling long distances and who knows if they are bringing full squads, but for the sake of the argument, I think you can go one of two ways. Strength of Schedule: CL .600 v. Cran .560. Or you can just flip a coin, or allow Todd to randomly pick out of a hat between the 3 teams.
If it were up to me. I'd give the nod to Capt. Lawrence, of their 2 wins, they had a more "high quality" win, if you want go by football/NCAA standards.

Re: 2010/11 Team Challenge Schedule, Results and Standings
We will be following the NFL tiebreaker policy, which gives the edge to Capt Lawrence due to the strength of schedule tiebreaker between Cran and them. Nasa was eliminated due to having the only loss amongst the 3 teams that were tied.
Final standings:
Bennett
Burgess
Wickham
Captain Lawrence
Cranbury
Nasa
Woodland Valley
TullyRock
Every captain please pm me the list of who will be attending/playing the 1st round at finals, I will use that list to make the groupings for the 1st round.
Thanks.

You're right. I was just focused on the top 4 for seeding purposes, I will correct it though.

NASA wants a recount here - that makes no sense, CL and NASA and Cran all beat Tolland, Cran beat Borderland CL beat NASA, but NASA beat Burgess. Burgess being 4-1 would give the "high quality" win as you say to NASA.....

you lost heads up to Capt. Lawrence who you are trying to break a tie with. Simple as that, head to head comes into play before quality wins does, this happens in any other sports league you look at.
