a bunch of new discs this year...
2010 is coming to an end, and there has been a lot of new discs released this season. to many to name, but what one has changed your game the most this season and why? maybe none of them have, but instead maybe an older mold now has a home in your bag instead....discuss.
for me it was the Nuke. love flicking this disc, super straight with a decent fade. using it has turned some par 4's into birdie opportunities. some days it still get pushed out of the bag for a good old pro destroyer, but it always ends up back in there eventually.
still looking forward to trying the buzzz ss too.

Mako.
More control on the anhyzer short drive & upshots.
Hit two of my three 2010 aces in with it.

V.P. as a driving putter is absolutely amazing. Once I figured out how to make it go straight, it's probably the most predictable disc in my bag...
And as for an oldie, the X wasp that I got at the dam big one. Thrown hard it goes super straight, perfect for any weather conditions, very predictable.

Mako and Summit have greatly improved my accuracy. It'd be a tough toss up as to which was a better improvement in 2010.

You still throw that overhand circus shot Roger? Hope to see you out on the links sometime. You should try to make a trip up to Pulpit.

The Echo Katana flies farther than any disc I have ever thrown--unbelievable glide on these.

I bought a Goldline Halo which I proceeded to throw further than any other disc I've ever touched. The disc just flies exactly the way I want a distance driver to fly. I'm looking forward to trying a Wahoo at some point soon as well.

Here's a list of all the new discs from this year...
discs that came out this year:
MD2
TD
Hail Mary
Miracle
Wing & A Prayer
Fuse
Gamma Ray
Money
Fusion Genesis
Fusion Legacy
Flying Squirrel
Secret Weapon
Swan
River
Fluent
Mark
Vantage
Z-Nuke (retool)
Mission
Hurricane
DD2-Frenzy
Ascent
Boom
Kraken
Merc
Protégé
Tempest
Flow
Jokeri
King
Hornet
Wahoo
PD2-Chaos
Vulcan
Wedge
Vector
holy smokes.
My vote goes to the River... with it's glide and slow speed, it gave many many players more distance with good accuracy.
Throw discs, and forget about life for awhile...

No one mentioned all the + molds that innova put out this yr too. These are different discs. Teebird +, Roc +, valkyrie +
And yes....the Z and X nuke is a different mold than the esp nuke.

Re: a bunch of new discs this year...
wow, i've only tried about 2-3 of those on that list.
I've been throwing classic, proven discs lately, taking the time to learn them instead of trying out every tom, disc and harry that comes out.

Re: a bunch of new discs this year...
I take back what i said about the nuke...just got a production run that is nothing like the first run I've been throwing since the GHDGO. I didn't know it was retooled. My first run z flew more stable then the production run. Little bummed out.
Guess I'll have to find first run z's or stick with the destroyers.
More new discs then I thought.

I never threw the 1st Run Nuke or the ESP. I like how the production runs fly they snap flat and go long. I can also put them on a good anny and it fades out slightly at the end. Im liking it alot.

...didn't know where else to put this and didn't feel it warranted a whole new thread...
Picked up a Chaos (PD-2) from Discmania (Innova offshoot). Looks EXACTLY like an old pea-green 1st run 175 E Spirit (Gateway) I've had for the past 5+ years. Except the Chaos's rim is 1mm wider. But the profiles are stupidly similar. Should be a very fast, very over stable disc. Will it be as fast as my Force with equal or more over stability - I'm hoping. But I doubt there will be much, if any, really new "stuff" to take distance to the next level.
OK, that means WE have to start getting better...instead of our equipment

Has anyone thrown the new archon? It looks like the Innova response to Latitude's Flow, which works like a charm.
