Basket Case Links Second Course updated pictures

Post by Kim Gray »

Well folks, Its finally happening. The second course here at Basket Case Links is finally looking like it's going to happen.

The guys have been working on it and we will have nine holes open this spring, if not the whole course.

"The Bad" is finally taking shape and I think everyone is really going to love this one.

I will post pictures as soon as I can.

Kim check out the tees and fairways and design at Sabbattus. It's worth the trip. It's close to you. And start playing girl and get your family out there. You'll never really know unless you get out there and play.

Play play play, and work like crazy between rounds. Okay you're right in not playing your tournaments. But go out and play, make it your new thing. I'm going out to play my rooooooooouuuunnnnd (like a disgruntled high school kid). Your mission: figure out what makes a course really really cool. You're a hop, skip and jump away from fulfilling your dreams.

Jason,
Thanks for your imput and I do play more than I did, I play in the league every week as a fill in for someone who does not show up, and I also try to play at least one round every couple of days even if I can't make it through the hole course because I am the only one here to run the show.

I promise the next time your here, I will grab my disc's and hit the course with you. lol.

Dave, Yes it is a lot of work, but we are really excited, this course is going to be great, Long holes, open holes, Par 5's. Everything the first course does not have. The "Bad" will also not convert back and forth throughout the woods, You will start on hole one and continue on to all eighteen holes without crossing back and seeing a hole you have already shot on.

This course will have bridges to cross, Streams running through it, and a lot of places to stop and take breaks, with picnic tables placed in various spots.

We are working vary hard to make this not only tough, but beautiful too.

Taking pictures today and I will post them later on.

Kim took me for the tour yesterday through the new course and It's gonna be great. Longer holes with some technical alleyways, and some nice open holes with wider fairways. It's going to be a very fun challenging course.

The pictures for hole 9 don't do it justice, it's going to give the old 18 a run for it's money as the prettiest hole in maine.

Well folks, Its taken us a lot longer than we had hoped for, but its finally here.

Basket Case Links has nine new playable holes, We are still working on the T-pads, but we have been letting players try them out these past few days. So far the response is great.

We will have them fully open by the "Battle to the Basket" tourney here on Sept. 10th, but if you want to check them out early, COME ON DOWN!!!
We would love to get the feedback.
