V.T.

Post by Eric Desmarais »

Hello,
So I got up to V.T. and played 2 coarses.I had gerat times at both.I plated Randoplh and Bennington. Both great and like tottaly opposite. The cool azzzz thing was at both coarese ther were locals/people to show us the way.
Randolph is short(i play Wickham 7110ft)but pretty tight.Just all around nice.Very low scores possible.Pretty much a Leopard,roc/buzz,putter.will get it done.
Bennington is much more open.a little longer not so diverse low scores also very possible.I must say I really liked playing up there and will do so EVERY time I am up.
My pops lives in Bomoseen so Im up there a bit.I usually post last minute about coming up.It would be great to hook up with locals.I really want to play Waterbury.Ive played N.Calais.So just singin V.T.s praises.Hope to see new people and the same people up there. :D  :D

Desmaris,

You didn't happen to come by a 10X KC Pro Aviar @ Randolph did you?

That shorty Anhyzer shot next to the river I skipped off the top of the basket and got swept away by the overflowing river in early Spring.

You're right it is a very short course, but I was able to take my cousin out there to play for her first time and she loved every minute of it. By Any chance did you happen to also throw your drive on 18 way past the basket and into the fenced in water supply area??? Which was funny that I was able to do that because the tee area was completely swamped and still had about an inch of water on it when I played.

Haven't had the chance to play Bennington yet. Maybe I can get up to VT in October. Let me know when you head up to VT I'll see if I can get up there with Nat.

eric - glad to hear the VT praises. glad you got to play the bennington course. we just redesigned that course this summer (to try and lengthen it and move it away for high traffic areas. we hopefully will complete our redesign by the end of the year. i know some holes at bennington seem to not flow but we picture those holes as connectors for another 9holes. i am thinking hole 6 in particular (tee off from walkway anhyzer to pin tucked into edge of woods). sorry i could not hook up with you this time but let me know when you will be out again. who did you meet at bennington?
