Bennet Farm Disc Golf Course BAP Gorham

Post by mjkstuff »

I would like to encourage those close to Portland to come out to play Disc Golf at one of the best courses in Maine. This place is like a ghost town. Merrick, the owner, has officially decided that he is only charging $5.00 for the entire day of play, pretty much what he's been doing all along. This is an incredible course, designed by Bob Enman, uses large amounts of terrain, wooded and open with elevation changes. Take advantage of this great price for an entire day of play. Merrick will be installing new tee pads and poles this year, making a real improvement to his course.

I just wanted to say that this course is really great... I was up in the Sebago/Casco area just recently and got a chance to check this one out. Big distance, big elevation changes, and so very scenic, they've got a few holes that resemble that Microsoft picture with the blue sky and green fields that used to come as standard wallpaper a while back. Anyway, you can really let it rip here, and still need the ability for some finesse shots, I love this course, and if your near the area of Gorham, which I'm assured people do live there, then you should def. check it out </ramble>

(Merrit deserves some traffic here, real nice guy... we got there 8am on that wet saturday, and he says to us, "nobody ever accused discgolfers of being lazy huh?"
Exactly what I said that morning, getting up before the sun to get a round in.)
