Crane Hill Team Thread
Calling all Team Crane members!!! Ideas are being thrown around for shirts/hats and we need everyone's shirt size. Ideas are always welcome to better the team (shirt ideas, team name ideas, logos, etc). Teammates, use this thread as a think tank so we can kick this year off right, and kick some a** at Newton on Oct 30.
I am asking that all teammates PM me with their critical information (name, cell phone, email, throwing style, conflict dates through March). Our team looks INCREDIBLE, and we have a fearless leader ready to kill it this season. Get the word out to other team members to get their information to me and check out this thread for more information throughout the season. I will also try and post similar information up on the message board by the parking lot at Crane when I can.
It all begins at Newton in a few weeks...

Re: Crane Hill Team Thread
Just some ideas...
Team Patches for our bags and what not.
Team Discs, dying the Crane Hill logo on one of everyone's discs.
We purchase a baby tiger and train it to live in the woods with us and he can travle to all our matches.

+1
Good thinkin' Kyle.
Chris dropped our logo off at an embroidery place to get it digitized and on file. That fee is pretty minimal. Now it's just getting the shirts and having that logo put on them. People can have anything they want embroidered with the Crane logo. So hypothetically we don't NEED to have uniforms and could instead have everyone take all their clothing to this shop to have it embroidered and then we'd wear that to the match.
But we can do something in uniform to cultivate more of that team feel. Whatever you guys is feeling. Let me know.
Oh yeah one more thing...

This is sweet, I kind of like not being uniform yet having something that unites in the matching logo (we should post that logo on here once it's digitized). We can be the misfits that win all our matches. Kyle, would you be able to do all the stamps or is this too much undertaking??? Never got to see you do the stamp job, but I assume it depends on how detailed the logo is...

Yeah i can do that stamp, it may not be perfect everytime, and it may be a little light (i'm still pretty new and inexperienced at the dying) by i'd be willing to do it all.

Sorry I'm not on your team but I figured I'd get the ball rolling. We have a neutral-site match in Dec/Jan. I'm thinking about Pye Brook in Topsfield as it's equidistant from our respective home courses.
Good luck Crane! Glad to see another solid new team.

Yeah, we were thinking wither Pye or Amesbury, whichever plays better with snow (maybe Amesbury?) I think we'd be down for either though. That definitely seemed like the most logical choice. We'll agree to one of these courses and continue to work out details as we go along?

Re: Crane Hill Team Thread
Not sure who created it or if we'd need to get permission from someone to use it but this Crane Hill logo also exists on the Town of Wilbraham Parks and Rec website.
http://www.wilbraham-ma.gov/Pages/WilbrahamMA_Parks%26Rec/012BE89C-000F8513.0/982009_74917_0.gif?src=.PNG
Having a logo embroidered is a great idea. Another thing to consider is iron on transfer paper. You print the logo from your computer on the paper then iron it onto clothing. It won't look as nice as embroidery but you can certainly iron it onto a plethora of things. Just throwin' it out there.

Pete and crew,
Are there a lot of drinkers on team Crane? Team Newton is a pretty AA crew(not me) so I need a heads up on how many like to party. Beer/booze preference?

bahaha we got a good party crew man.. We are going to tryyy to keep it kinda in check to try to win but I mean let's be real.. We'll be throwing a couple back... And preferences.... We certainly aren't picky at Crane haha, normally there's some Genessee on ice being enjoyed at the course, everything from that to sierra ipa's so it's all good...

c'mon babi boiii 1. not everyone on yo team is shootin par. 2. if everyone on your team did shoot par that'd really suck cuz doubles is the only time scores are computed. 3. par at newton is one of the most relaxed pars in NE. (Unless you're saying everyone shoots 55 with 7 being the only true 4) 4. Newton stands a chance against us, buttttttt not a good one
ok kinda just playing with 4 but gotta rep the team somewhere.. Should be a good match up at a quirky course. Even with Nefa finals lurking around the corner this match has got me pumped..

Kevin why you scowling thru team challenge threads? I'd get u a spot on newton but if your not interested its just weird looking to post on all of them. We could always use a good lefty who adds ten strokes to their opponents scores.
