Forum Acronyms & Disc Rating Scale

Post by Tim_Griskus »

Here are a few Acronyms that I have seen on the various other forums, feel free to use these or just be detailed in your listing what you're looking for or you have for trade.

LTS = Looking to Sell
LTT = Looking to Trade
WTT = Wanted to Trade
WTB = Wanted to Buy
LTB = Looking to Buy
LF = Looking for

Disc Rating Scale = Sleepy's Scale (Made up by Sleepy in another Forum)

10 - Never thrown, no ink, brand new condition
9 - Field tested or used for one or two rounds
8 - Lightly used with very minimal wear
7 - Used with some minor dings or scuffs but still in good shape
6 - Typical used disc with the usual dings, scratches but still worthy
5 - Kinda beat, significant wear, has lost a good bit of it's stability
4 - Beat up turnover disc with some evident war story wear
3 or under- Beat to Hades dog chew toy

Also, sort of on topic here:

Please empty your Private Message folders periodically. There are 4 folders, and each one has a status bar on the top/right side of the screen so you can see how full they are. The folders are:

Inbox

Sent

Outbox

Saved

Inbox is messages you have received obviously. These can add up, and there's not a lot of storage here on the site so delete useless ones ASAP. You can also mark them to save in the Saved folder if you need to keep it.

Sent folder contains messages you have sent AND they have been opened/read. Outbox is messages sent, and have NOT been opened yet; possibly because the person is not online but usually because their Inbox is full.

If you send someone a PM about xyz and it sits in your Outbox forever (not opened) BUT you know they have been online, find another way to contact them to empty out their junk.

Pretty sure that's correct.

What would 10/10 be?
Throw discs, and forget about life for awhile...

What would 10/10 be?

Blah sorry, i meant i thought 9/10 was Inked, never thrown, perfect condition. As opposed to 10/10 being the same but with no ink.

Just what i thought from reading how you guys used the ratings.

Kinda irrelevant though i was just bored posting.
