Millis Disc Golf

So with the recent failures or pitfalls with the Franklin project, and the walkthrough with Nate in Framingham, I was motivated and dead-set on finding a plot of land in my general area that would be a good location for a course.

Needless to say, I found an absolute GEM yesterday.

It's got a "hunt-club-esque" feel to it (for those of you that played it), and is a good mix of short and long holes in rolling fields with scattered cedars and pines with a few tight/wooded holes that work perfectly into the flow of the course.

I sent an initial email to the "powers that be" and was glad to see a reply extending an invite to their upcoming meeting to present the idea. Only problem is I can't make it

If anyone is in the general area, let me know and i'll gladly show you the vision I had. We can bring a few discs and see what this place has to offer!

That place may be tough if the 2M rule is in effect, those cedars are natural disc catchers. It's a great disc golf property, it would be sweet to see a a few courses go into this area of the state!

Nate, Kyle, and myself walked the property again and threw some plastic at some of the prospective "holes".

Jerel, at times, resides in Millis. I believe he has taken his talents to Maynard for the time being though.
