VIBRAM IBEX

Post by Dave Jackson »

I've been tossing one for awhile and have to say it's a reliable, straight flyer. It holds any line you put it on, has good grip and it maintains it's original flight characteristics after many rounds.
I've been using the X-Link Firm.

They have X-Link soft in all their discs, including the Ibex which seems like it could come in handy at one of my favorite courses:

Lady Pye...

Anyone throw these yet and whatcha think??

Love mine in x-link reg... It's a go to for me when I need a straight throw and have some trees in the way (hate that buzzz when it hits trees). Consistent, stable with very little low speed hyzer. Only bummer for me is I like to turn my disc in my hand before I throw, and I always have to be conscious with the vibram that have the stamp on one side and counter-weight on the other. You can feel both on the underside of the disc. Minor but true. Can't beat the vibram colors :D.

I have one, I want to like it, but I haven't found a good use for it. I can't get it out as far as some of my other mids.

Love my Ibex medium. Straight as a string. When theses Vibram hit trees, they sit where they hit for the most part.

It's nice not having a disc careen off a tree, flatten out and glide 90' out into a pond

Rubber built into a disc is a great idea.
