Yes, a contractor is coming down to remove the fallen trees; the place is flooded, so the extra days are needed to drain the joint.

You think it will be playable for league this week?

Go ahead. It's just a little water......more OB means more fun!!!

Seriously, it'll be pretty muddy.

She's draining but water is still plentiful; however, all baskets ARE accessible. Throw conservatively on 10, and be cautious on 3. The water was right up to the 1st pin yesterday, so she should be down considerably for league.

Played Barre this morning. The water has risen - one's basket is completely submerged. Two's tee pad is waterfront property. Three is playable, but a long way around unless you have a reliable long drive. Ten's basket is visible but surrounded by water.

I threw a nice (for me) drive off 16 that ended up in 2 feet of water - darned forehand never broke back right. Played my second shot with my shorts pulled up high. :D

Every hole is playable, she's still draining, but with this week's showers it'll be sloppy out there.

Checked out the course yesterday, no significant damage, a lot of bent over birches. One more pine sheared in half on 13's fairway hill. Which continues to get easier, season after season.

But I got some Good news, yessir: the Rangers made a set of steps coming off the embankment on 10. Very cool!

No hand rails, however, so Trent, you'll have to take it slow....

Left behind a tie-dye buzz ace disc on hole 14 yesterday I threw a second shot
That went through the pines on the left of the fairway that snuck through and landed in the grass just at the bottom of the hill. Its worth a finders fee!!
