Center Chains - Sap Bucket

Post by Eric Kevorkian »

Haven't played the course yet, but registered for the Sap Bucket next weekend. What's the course like? I know it's a par 54...good elevation changes...some woodsy and some open holes. Anything a little more specific? Real tight fairways? How thick is the rough stuff??? OB??? Thanks!

FYI for those locals up @ Center Chains.

Larry Kirk is on a mission to play all DG in all 50 states, and only NEFAland remains. He came through Connecticut yesterday and played Page Park in Bristol and Wickham Park in Manchester. He's heading up to Pinnacle in New Hampshire today, perhaps in the morning and then will make a foray into Vermont. I think he intends to play in the Thursday Night TRIPZ @ Center Chains, so you may have a very enthusiastic visitor on hand. His # is 209.564.7301

Thanks.

I signed up for the Sap Bucket and wondering if anyone has any updates on the course? It looks like the course got discatcher baskets and some pads within the last few years. Are there flypads on all 18 blues? What about whites? Any info would be great, thanks. Still par 54?

Still par 54. New discatchers on all holes. There are rubber tee pads on most of the longer holes. We are having a work day next Saturday so the course will be in tip top shape.

*gasp* :o

NO more custom made baskets where you can put the disc through the top of it??? I miss that!!!

I remember one basket was stolen two years ago.

I guess its time for me to visit this course when I'm heading to Burlington someday. 8-)
