new Z buzzes domey?

Post by John DeBois »

I just got a new elite Z buzz in the mail and it has a slight dome to it, unlike the 6 other ones that I have ordered over the last year. this is the first inconsistency i have seen with discraft plastic. does anyone know if this is just a fluke or are the newest runs domey? looked around online but didn't see anything about it

I revived an order of them and they are all very domey! Have not had any feedback on flights yet.

I don't think there is a reason to panic. It just helps to be able to go to a store and pick em out.

domey Z's do happen. I find if you're ordering blind, go for the Glow Z, those are almost always board flat and stable.

On a serious note ... my brother went to the Magic Hat brewery in VT several months ago and bought me a tie-dyed Magic Hat stamped Z buzzz ... VERY flat ... definitely a nice disc that will find a home in the bag eventually. If you have the time to hit them up, go check them out ...

I think the real problem is that you have gone through 6 z buzzes this year.

if flat is important to you, definitely don't order online. they'll purposely ship out the domey ones first since some people don't like them.

also, the tourney stamped esp's are SUPER flat IMO. amesbury pines open for example, quite flat.
