winter fairway drivers

i love the feel of pro plastic in the winter
or flx, depending on how cold
all my candy discs get too stiff-

what molds do folks throw for a stable fairway driver
i already have the leopards covered, and they're not that stable

pro teebirds aren't a typical production run
there isn't an XG champ version that i know of
what plastics is the Stalker available in?

what stable to over-stable fairway drivers do you guys throw?

yeah i was thinking that- but i traded away my ascents... i have a firm ascent i like, but it's probably stiff in the cold? i'll have to try it out-

i do like the flx plastic in the cold, but the surge rim is too big- i've never been able to throw them accurately enough, especially with a short run up in winter

but i found a cryztal z stalker for 13 bucks shipped, so i'm starting there
i also noticed the flx XL is available- even though its not a "fairway" driver, the rim is still quite a bit smaller than Surge, Nuke, Wraith, etc... from my memory, right?

i may have to just look at discraft's site to see if they list stuff by plastic- FLX is king
Innova has "Pro" but treats it like a beginner's plastic- and they've only released a couple of their "XG" gummy molds

Flx XL is very much like a TL.
XL is definitely a fairway driver and a damn good one too!!

I like the Trac when I need better grip in the cold or rain. If you want something a little more stable, I have a medium ascent I could trade you. It's 173 and lightly used. I traded someone for it and haven't used it yet. I had an elite x XL when I first started out that had nice grip as well. Definitely wasn't wide rimmed like a Nuke.

Try the new Volt by mvp. I love it. I think its speed 9. Havent thrown it in actual snow yet but a solid fairway driver with alot of glide/not alot of fade. Seems like its higher speed than it is/

I love Latitude 64's Gold Line, grippy, durable as hell, and sexy.. what more could you ask for? here are my recommendations

The Core is a fantastic mid range >300 feet, tad more understable than a buzz

The Vision is a geat straight-turnover driver

The Havoc is a Big Gun, used for massive hyzer spikes and long flicks.
