WOW
I got a call from a nice young boy who found my brand new firebird that was left behind on hole 18 the day after I bought it

It's a Lenten miracle!

And now to the other side of the spectrum - - -

I was playing hole 17 yesterday and I get a call from a private number. I pick up and some kid is like "hey is this Chris Irvine?" and I said well yes, indeed it is, who is this? he says "I have your black disc and I just want you to know that I'm never gonna give it back to you! (click)

So that pisses me off. I make my birdie putt and finish up the round.

After 18, I walked the shorter way to the lot going past number 3's teebox. Lo and behold, I see some kid in a group of three pick up a black disc after he throws some garbage drive. As I get closer, I can tell it is a stingray much like the one that I lost months ago. My buddy Dan and I walk up to him and I'm like "hey nice disc. Says Chris Irvine on it, huh? You just called me!" Dan swiftly rips the stolen property from his hands as the kid's eyes turn as big as saucers.

A few choice words about etiquette and what we think of their character later, I have my old disc back.

I am glad I'm a calm person because I know plenty of people who would have beat the bag outta the kid for being such a punk.

I didn't wanna be added to the arrest list at Burgess this summer, though a few good shots on him would've felt great.

Good stuff, serves him right for being a DBag calling you like that. The funny thing is if he hadn't have called you probably wouldn't have noticed/cared about that disc.

Steve - unfortunately i was kind of at a loss for words and the whole fyf thing slipped my mind (the first f part came out though)

the funny thing is that if he had called me to give it back I would've told him to keep it! I have two new stingrays since i lost that one untold months ago; furthermore I don't really even throw them, save for choice situations where I need a real hard turnover.

So... if anyone needs a 175 stingray, holl'atchaboi

Memo to self: Never let Billy borrow an important disc! Lost my yellow Flick on the field hole... He flipped it over and it ended up somewhere near hole 3.

On a positive note; I managed to shoot six down!

Pay it forward right? Think abundantly and positive and good things just seem to happen.

I have a blowfly that someone handed me last week, anyone know whos it is? no name, nothin.

I also had two discs turned into me in the past 3 weeks :-) There is hope for Burgess afterall.

Bummer on that Punk kid though. We will see if he shows his face again...

Found a yellow disc out in the open on 9 last saturday. no name, no number. could have been under the snow. You tell me what disc and plastic type, you get the disc back.

If no one claims it, it will be used as a fundraiser disc for the club.

Cheers,
