Cooler bag

Post by Derek DeCoste »

Anyone know anything or have this bag? My buddy is looking for a DG golf bag that has a cooler in it, and this is what he found. Either that or we need to invent one...

Just curious if anyone out there uses it, and how reliable it is.

Umm...interesting and curious....where's the cooler located? Top or bottom?

Looks like you can go to the store in person to check it out.

Yeah it's an OGIO back pack that is converted into a disc golf bag. The bottom cooler can hold about 6 beers. I bought one thru my work for Jeni and put a frame inside it for discs, the only problem we had was the bag tipping over.

Tommmay Graustein had one. I wonder why he isn't using it anymore.
Sometimes I wonder, "Why is that disc getting bigger?". Then it hits me.

Any more comments on the bag. It is a Royal-T with the cooler on the bottom. Can it be removed? Durability?????????

One of my friends uses a cooler for a disc golf bag. He found one that slings over one shoulder with 2 large pockets on the outside and a velcro flap on the top. He bought it at a Rite Aid. He caries about 10 discs, but only uses about 5 regularly, so 5 or 6 in the outer pockets and the rest in the cooler.

I carry a 12 disc shoulder strap bag, and a cooler for the other shoulder. This evens out the load, although the cooler gets lighter as the round progresses.

I am ready to up grade to a back pack style disc golf bag that holds like 20 discs. Instead of carrying 20 discs I will still carry about 11 discs, and use the extra space to keep a cooler where the discs go.
Practice with purpose.

I have an awesome cooler bag that fits easily 30+ cans, has a luggage handle and wheels, which fold up so you can pull out backpack straps and use it as a backpack.

Its also has 3 LARGE pockets on each side that fits about 2-3 discs each. Great for a flat course like West T.
