this will be the fourth season of disc golf for me- and i have video proof of a chain-out "almost ace" from my first 2 months of playing... but since then nothing.

i joined some local friends in their 50 club- meaning you pay out 50 if you're in the same group with another member who aces. wolf hit a big one a couple weeks ago, made more than a lot of tournament payouts... i'd like to be next! i figure after i have to pay out a couple times, karma will reward me... or i'll move far away to a course with all pitch-n-putt holes.

I'm still waiting for my first ace.
I've hit chains at Borderland and Amesbury.
Before the Minuteman this year, my partner and I were warming up on hole 4 w/b.
After throwing a few drives with midranges, I drove with a beast and it skipped right in.
Doesn't count for anything, but it was sweet to watch.

Just posting that I am part of the no ace club publicly so one day (hopefully soon) I can post what Kenji did.

Congrats!

Close today- Hole 14 Pye Brook. Really surprised I haven't aced it yet actually... But today I slammed chains. It's a blind hole so I heard it and ran around the corner to see my disc on the ground in front of the basket. Brand spanking new pink Z Pred. Flicked it real soft and let it fade in. So close!

Ya, seriously cruel Keith. Come on, it can't be THAT long ago that you remember saying to yourself "Gee, I hope I will get an ace someday..." :)

For you noacers...keep at it...it WILL come.

Six years and waiting... had one bounce off the edge of the basket on 2 at a course in western Jersey, but no chains or baskets since. Drat and double drat and triple drat!

I'm out! Battle of Saratoga today, Hyzer Creek Hole 11 - straight as... (you fill in the rest). Needless to say, a 1 on a pdga tournament card could be the coolest. Good luck to everyone else in here, I'm hoping the floodgates are now open.

Two weeks b4 Christmas i hit basket on a wicked skip on 16 W-W at Borderland, then Christmas Eve i hit pole below the basket bottom on 11 at W Thompson in CT.

Close only counts in horeshoes, handgrenades, and aces in disc golf

Hit the chains on Hole 1 at Cross Farms last year...that's the closest I've come and I've been playing almost 2 years.

No Aces is making me sad. I've hit chains at least 5 times over the last 2 years since I started. Parked a 430 foot hole a couple of months ago, hit the basket during a tourney but I just can't seem to get the luck.

I'm hoping posting here will give me some luck via self deprecation. Only time will tell. If you're a religious person, pray for me. If you're an atheist, send me your good vibes. :|
