looking to straighten out some warped putters, because that's clearly the only possible problem with my otherwise flawless putting.
Right now I've got them out in the sun, between 2 plates that are supporting the flight plate.
got other tips? Gateway & Vibram are what I'm working on.

Pour in water from a tea kettle. I've had discs that got warped from improper storage and i heat water in the tea kettle and then pour it in. The disc went back to it's original shape no problems.

Boil water.
Put disc upside down
Pour water into disc
Put cookie sheet on top of the disc
Put some books or other weighted object on there.

Leave it on a flat surface in your car when it's 99 degrees out.
This is also a good way to turn a Blizzard Ape into an Epic, as we found out at Devens league this week.

i do this- letting the water fill the disc, and come out and surround it a bit- then a smaller pan on top and books and the like
better results with DX or medium grade plastics obviously
i did it to a glow teebird (the old dx glow) and the results were remarkable- flat as F
and i've done it to champ discs with seemingly no effect after 3 attempts
as far as getting rid of warps, it depends on the warp
if the disc is truly mashed, it might come out flat after this- but it's still weak on that spot or "crease", so it'll just warp again first chance it gets

I microwave the vibrams top down - pretty sure this is legit from my research on it, but I won't deny I still get a little nervous about it everytime I use that cooker. Always seems to work fine, just don't over do it. I think I usually do about 1 min 15 seconds.
