2013 Widows and Abandoned Children Tournament 10/20/13

I checked with the park and it is official, the date for this year’s Widows Tournament is 10/20/2013.

There will once again be a variety of div. to choose from:

Widows (one reg. player and their significant other)
Power Couple (both players play on a somewhat reg. basis)
Children (one player one child, two children, one player child and their non-playing parent)
bro/wo mance (one player one non player that is not a child) this div. is on an as needed basis

All non-player widows,children,non-player parents, and non player bro/wo mance will shoot from alternate (shorter/easy) tees for every hole.

This is a one round 18 hole tournament with a picnic (pot luck) lunch afterwards. Player packs will include custom scorecard and Crafty soap.

Any donations for CTP's/players pack/or awards are welcome.

Just a reminder, The Widows will be the last tournament at Wick for the 2013 season. Costume are not mandatory but in the memory of BUC we do encourage it. Please post here or drop me a line if you plan on attending and also which division you will be competing in. Like always all CTP donations are welcomed.

What is the entrance fee?
My wife and I are thinking about signing up. She plays every once in awhile but not very often, she's got about 100-150ft of power so I'm not sure what division we'd be in.

I would say Widows div. You would play from the reg. tee and she would play from the shorter tee. Each hole has to have at least one throw from each player except for an Ace. The cost is $20 per team. That covers player paks,lunch and trophies. Hope y'all can make it, and remember to wear a costume if you can.

Player Packs are almost set, we have about 9 CTP's so far,Trophies will hopefully be done today or tomorrow,picnic stuff is coming together and teams are signing up. We are starting to look good for this weekend. I'm basing food and beverage on about 20 teams (approx. 40 palyers) there are 13 tenative teams already in. If you are planning on playing drop me a line so I can fine tune things. We look forward to seeing everyone on Sunday for the 7th annual Widows & Abandoned Childrens Tournament!!!!!
