I know it should not bother me but the exclusion of Bachman-Turner Overdrive and the Guess Who pisses me off.
What did Randy do to Rolling Stone to continue to get snubbed.
His guitar is in the hall but neither of his bands deserve to be there?
Fred Turner is one of the greatest growlers in rock. He can still do it now in his seventies.
Even the younger generation recognises the intr to American Woman.
Randy Bachman and Fred Turner have been favorites of mine since I got the NotFragile 8 track for a birthday gift.

Who is your favorite that is not in the hall?

Re: Rolling Stone RR Hall of Fame
The Meters... This is the second year in a row they have been nominated. George Porter Jr. is the funkiest man alive currently. Most sampled band ever, I believe.
Love the Guess Who, as well. Saw them live in Denver about 15 years ago, but obviously not all original members. Share the Land.

Funk connection: Phish keyboardist Page McConnell has been playing along side George Porter Jr. with The Meter Men the last couple years.

Yes, but only for one year. Although the band formed in '83 (30 years ago!), it was 5 years later when their first official album was released.
